Our  legacy training centre is focused on developing inspirational legacy leaders whether they are trustees, volunteers, staff or service users.

We also help fundraisers develop cutting edge strategies and to talk and write about legacies with enthusiasm and passion.

We train volunteers in legacy discovery days which inspire them to promote legacies for your charity. Every type of volunteer is welcome: retail, admin support, service providers, event holders.

Every fundraiser can benefit from understanding the ease of promoting legacies: local community fundraising, major donors, supporter  care teams, corporate teams ,trust and foundation fundraisers to ensure great integration

Senior management teams and trustees are trained to manage expectations, promote realistic KPIs and to invest in legacy promotion.

Staff who are service providers can inspire those they meet.

Training packages can include insight days to understand how day to day actvities can include legacy promotion to more adavanced sessions called discovery days to define the art of the possible in terms of legacy promotion.

Sessions can be a couple of hours or a full day or any time in between! Everyone can be a legacy champion  – it is just doing it in a way to suit them!   

Training courses
Training you and your team to “make the legacy ask” instils confidence and delivers practical, working knowledge of legacy fundraising. We offer a range of courses for legacy fundraisers, as well as bespoke training for your charity. Richard also runs the legacy fundraising courses for the Institute of Fundraising

The Essentials course is based on developing communications. this is great when legacies are only part of your role. We cover every type of communication and debate: the growth of the legacy market, motivations for leaving legacies, content for ALL channels: websites, brochures, newsletters, Facebook, events and loads more.

The Strategy course (oh surprise surprise!) focuses on developing a strategy and objective setting and segmentation of prospects, cultivation and stewardship including one of the most forgotten and important issues: developing the best call to action
