It was really nice to see the Pallant House Gallery in Chichester receive an award for excellence for its legacy campaign from Legacy10 . This gallery is a fine jewel which challenges the Tate and all other UK “famous” galleries. I was really fortunate to be brought in to advise this gem at the beginning; but what was so lovely to witness was the trustees and Elaine Bentley take action not just immediately but on asistained basis. Now the rewards are showing. The campaign is incredibly simple and regular and has grown and grown but without any massive expenditure. A really great example of excellence which was due to a really close trustee/staff partnership. Hooray
